TOUR MEMBERSHIP & MOBILITY REQUIREMENTS The tour schedule requires tour members to walk using a moderate pace on uneven terrain (an average of 1 – 3 miles each day).

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS The trip is intended for persons of reasonably good health and without serious physical disabilities. It is imperative that persons with medical problems make them known at the time of registration. It Is Written reserves the right to decline to accept anyone as a participant if they are deemed to be medically unfit for travel. By submitting payment for the trip, you certify that you do not have any physical disabilities that might create a hazard for yourself or other participants. It Is Written assumes no liability regarding the provision of medical care or any special medical accommodations. It is the responsibility of the participant to check with their medical professionals to ensure that they are fit for the journey.

PASSPORT, VISA, & MINOR CHILDREN It is the passenger’s responsibility to provide positive identification at the time of airport check-in in the form of a valid passport (with an expiration date at least six months after the date of return). Photocopies of the passport are not acceptable forms of identification. For U.S. citizens, a visa may be required. Each participant is responsible for the timely procurement of the required visa. Non-U.S. citizens are also responsible to fulfill appropriate entry requirements of the destination country; contact your local consulate for information. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

TRAVEL & HEALTH INSURANCE It Is Written will provide a basic short-term travel insurance policy, mainly to help in the event of an emergency. Any additional travel and health insurance is not provided by It Is Written. Each participant may want to consider purchasing a travel insurance plan. Also, be sure to check with your health insurance provider to assure your medical plan covers you outside of your country of residence.

RESPONSIBILITY It Is Written cannot be held responsible for any additional costs incurred by the passenger due to missed, canceled, or delayed flights, or any additional costs incurred due to the cancellation of the trip by It Is Written. These costs will be the responsibility of the participant. By going on the trip, the participant agrees that It Is Written shall not be or become liable or responsible for any loss, injury or damage of person, property or otherwise, in connection with accommodations, transportation, or other services, resulting directly or indirectly from exceptional acts of life.
