Join Pastor Wes Peppers on a unique trip to Asia for a dynamic experience that only God can give! It Is Written will partner with the South Philippine Union Conference and the North Davao City (third largest in the Philippines) through medical clinics and evangelism. Hope Channel Philippines will broadcast Pastor Wes’s evangelistic meetings live to the entire country! Several other evangelism sites will conduct support meetings in surrounding areas.
We will also conduct large-scale dental and medical clinics as well as children’s VBS. You can be a part of this historic initiative as an evangelist, medical professional, or support staff. God has an incredible opportunity for you to share Jesus in a variety of ways, and there is something for everyone to contribute. We will work with the local conference, pastors, and members to bring hope and healing to this area.
Eyes for India will conduct a 10-day cataract eye surgery camp for the people of West Davao City. Dr. Jacob will be present to lead his team and give sight to thousands in need.
The medical clinics will take place in the morning. The evangelism meetings and VBS will take place in the evening. All participants will be assigned to a church site in some capacity and serve each evening in their role.
This trip will be a life-changing experience as you witness God work miracles in you and the lives of those you reach! You will return home energized, excited about mission in your local church and community, and praying for your next trip!

Volunteers are responsible for purchasing their own airline tickets to and from Davao City. It Is Written will provide transportation to Tagum City, where the meetings will be held in the surrounding villages. All dates exclude air travel time and any additional excursions taken. You may need to purchase airline tickets a day or two before arrival date due to the time difference. If you choose to arrive earlier than the arrival date or depart after the departure date mentioned above, you will be responsible for payments and arranging any additional nights at the hotel as well as transportation to and from the airport. It Is Written representatives will meet all volunteers upon arrival at the airport. Once your airline ticket has been purchased, email a copy of your itinerary to Cathy Quedzuweit at [email protected].
Accommodations will be at a local hotel. It Is Written seeks to provide the very best accommodations for reasonable pricing. The mission field will require flexibility and sacrifice. Still, we strive to maintain safety and a comfortable and restful experience.
Participants will have a roommate unless you elect to cover the extra cost of your own room.
Local transportation is provided to and from the airport and all trip destinations.
Three vegetarian meals are provided each day. Due to the local limitations, vegan meals are not always an option, although some selections within a meal may be.
We are unable to accommodate gluten-free or other similar needs. You are welcome to bring any food items you need. Any food purchases outside of the three meals are the participant’s responsibility.
To be announced. (All excursions, if any, will be an additional cost.)
