Overview
Baybay (pronounced bye-bye) is located on the western side of the island of Leyte in the Philippines. Leyte is remembered in history as the island where General Douglas McArthur kept his promise to return to the Philippines during World War II. Leyte, and particularly Tacloban City and nearby communities, were devastated by super Typhoon Haiyan (over 6,000 dead) in 2013. It is in that part of the world that It Is Written has been asked to organize 10 evangelistic meetings and conduct health clinics as. So, we’re calling on volunteers ready to preach and minister to people. This will be an unforgettable experience.
