Overview
It Is Written has been invited to participate in a big evangelism effort on the island of Sumatra. It is an island known for its rugged tropical terrain, wildlife and volcanoes. Tanjung Karang is the city where we will focus our work. Our brothers and sisters there are excited that help is coming from the outside to proclaim Jesus through preaching, health clinics, and children's ministries. This will be a trip of a lifetime.

Travel Information
Volunteers are responsible for purchasing their own airline tickets to and from Bandar Lampung, Indonesia. All dates exclude air travel time and any additional excursions taken. You may need to purchase airline tickets a day or two before arrival date due to the time difference. If you choose to arrive earlier than the arrival date or depart after the departure date mentioned above, you will be responsible for payment of any additional nights at the hotel. It Is Written representatives will meet all volunteers upon arrival at the airport. Once your airline ticket has been purchased, email a copy of your itinerary to Maria Rayburn at [email protected].

Entry Requirements
US citizens should make sure their passport will not expire for at least 6 months after they enter the country even if they do not intend to stay that long. They should also make sure they have at least 2 blank pages in their passport for any entry stamp that will be required.
A visa is not required as long as you do not stay in the country more than 30 days.
Medical Requirements
Check the vaccines and medicines list and visit your doctor (ideally 4-6 weeks) before your trip to get vaccines or medicines you may need.
