'Revelation Today' to Explore Bible Prophecy This January

Interest in prophecy has recently captured the attention of North America, and in the last decade, the topic has graced the covers of TIME and Newsweek. Many are wondering if the 2012 end of the Mayan calendar predicts the destruction of the world. Others see political and economic upheaval as a sign of the end.

In the midst of all this confusion, many people are turning to the Bible for answers. It is for this reason that, beginning Jan. 20, locations around the world will be hosting a special series about the book of Revelation called Revelation Today, featuring John Bradshaw of It Is Written Television.

Over the course of this free, multimedia event—live from the Cashman Center in Las Vegas—Bradshaw will open the Bible to explore Revelation chapter by chapter. In a world where many people are terrified of what the future holds, Bradshaw has found that Revelation actually contains a message of peace and hope. He also believes that the Bible itself holds the keys to revealing the signs of Revelation, and that by studying other parts of this holy Book, one can find answers to what will happen in the final days of Earth's history.

"The book of Revelation is possibly the most misunderstood and confusing book in the Bible, when in fact it is the revelation of Jesus Christ," said Bradshaw. "During this series, Bible subjects typically shrouded in confusion will be made clear as we learn how the messages in this book apply to our lives today."

Revelation Today will involve both satellite and local elements, as well as interactive components such as live polls and the opportunity to ask Bible questions. Topics will include: "Our Day in Bible Prophecy," "The Master Key to Bible Prophecy," "The Mystery of Death," and "The United States in Prophecy."
